Ingeniously staged and you may smartly dialogued, it’ll have no higher challenge during the life off the extremely ugly label.” [ 8 ]

Cobb), and a good scuffling celebrity (Evelyn Keyes) whoever sister (Nina Foch) worked at gambling enterprise and you can dated a good corrupt investigator (Jim Bannon). Evelyn Keyes plays the good nothing lady who brings forth the brand new finest in him and you will Ellen Received ‘s the easy and you may slinky vixen who gets your to your jams. Thomas Gomez is actually greasy just like the villain and Lee J. Cobb does an alternate able journey as the an exhausted police inspector who fundamentally closes the actual situation.
